Hyaluronan, the key ingredient in Gel-One, is a natural substance found in the fluid within your joints. The body’s own hyaluronan acts like a lubricant and shock absorber in the knee joint and is needed for the joint to work properly.��

Gel-One��therapy is used for patients who have failed to respond adequately to other therapies, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs, e.g. Ibuprofen), or simple pain relievers (Acetaminophen, e.g. Tylenol).

Hyaluronan is a polysaccharide containing repeating disaccharide units of glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine.
