Solutions in your hands

ճܾ® Cannulated Screw System comprises a wide range of sizes ranging from Ø3.0 mm-7.5 mm, lengths up to 180 mm,partial and full threaded design enabling the surgeon to address a broad spectrum of trauma needs.

Anatomy

  • Hip and Femur

Product Type

  • Plates and Screws

System Features

Screws are made from a proprietary implant grade stainless steel alloy called ‘Biodur® 1081’ that enables key features and benefits*.

Large Cannula

  • Large cannulation and deepthreading without compromising strength.Thishelps provideprecise guidewire placement, designed to limitthe chances of skiving, deflecting or ‘walking’ on the bone.

Self-drilling/Self-tapping

  • Self-drilling/Self-tappingcutting flutes are designed to allowease of insertionwhile the reverse cutting flutes are designed to aid in ease of removal. Deep threads aim to increase resistance to pullout.

Minimally-Invasive

  • Minimally invasive instrumentation and surgical technique are designed to minimize additional trauma through percutaneous guides and small incisions.

Benefits

Strength

  • Biodur108 Alloy allows theZimmerCannulated System to feature deepthreads without compromising strength.2
  • Self-drilling and self-tapping thread designis intended to allowfor ease of insertion. Reverse cutting flutes aid in ease of removal.

Reduced Sensitivity

  • Biodur® 108 is low-nickel stainless steel alloy 3 designed to reduce Ni release minimizing thechances of Nickel sensitivity

Accuracy

  • Biodur108 Alloy allows theZimmerCannulated System to featurelargecannulation without compromising screw strength.
  • The largecannulation accommodates a large/stiffguide wire
  • Guide wires are designed toincreasestrength and stiffnessto help minimizeskiving, deflecting, or“walking”on the bone
  • Thisaims to affordincreaseaccuracy in guide wire placement and screw insertion.
